Profile
Anthony A. Braga, Lecturer in Public Policy, is Senior
Research Associate in the Program in
Criminal Justice Policy and Management of the Malcolm Wiener
Center for Social Policy. His research focuses on working with
criminal justice agencies to develop strategic crime-prevention
strategies to deal with urban problems such as firearms violence,
street-level drug markets, and violent crime hot spots. He has
served as a consultant on these issues to the Rand Corporation;
National Academy of Sciences; U.S. Department of Justice; U.S.
Department of the Treasury; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and
Firearms; Boston Police Department; New York Police Department; and
other state and local law enforcement agencies. He received his MPA
from Harvard University and his PhD in criminal justice from
Rutgers University.
