Dean Jamison is T. & G. Angelopolous Visiting Professor in Public Health and International Development at the Kennedy School and the School of Public Health. An economist and professor in the School of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco, his research focuses on public health policy and global health. He is an Adjunct Professor at Peking University and at the University of Queensland. He was elected to membership in the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences. He is the author of numerous book chapters and papers and is coauthor of Farmer Education and Farm Efficiency. He was the lead author of the World Bank's 1993 World Development Report, Investing in Health. He holds an AB and MS from Stanford and a PhD in economics from Harvard.
